How large are the Board Stiff CRNA Classes?
We believe strongly in the small group sessions. For our board courses we will have no more than 25 candidates in a room/per faculty. You won’t need opera glasses and super sonic hearing for our sessions.

Where do Board Stiff CRNA Questions Come From?
Our questions have been culled through years of experiences from hundreds of examinees.

Are some of the questions from the actual boards?
Well yes, we are not deaf when people tell us what questions they were given. But if anyone claims to have “the list” of board questions, please call the FBI.

How do Board Stiff CRNA Sessions Work?
There is no magic. We’ve arranged 9 exams, 100 questions each, all Single Best Answer. You’ll have 1 hour (60 minutes) for each 100 question exam. The actual Boards allow you approximately 50 seconds to 1 minute per question. That means we push you hard to answer the first thing that comes to your mind, and not to second-guess your answers. This is a tried and true test-taking technique that has worked for years. If you can master this, you’ll master the real exam!
Remember, this is a Board Review Course, so challenging yourself will help you learn and score well on the actual exam. If you only get through the first 70 or so questions, fear not! You will have actually done it as quickly as you are required to. However, we encourage you to push yourself. Besides, you’ll learn more!
After the 60 minutes are up, we’ll have a review of all 100 questions, with explanations and many references for further reading. (That’s just in case we’re off base and you’re smarter than we are!)
Following the review, it’s BREAK TIME! Gotta clean out those cobwebs and rest those neurons for the next go-round!

Unlike some courses, held in auditoriums the size of Rockefeller Center, at Board Stiff CRNA our small group sessions encourage participation.

Is there any time for lectures?
During our answer and explanation portion we are happy to discuss a topic. We can usually tell which they are by those “deer in the headlights” looks. Our vast experience, academic and clinical work makes this possible.

What makes Board Stiff CRNA better than any other course?
Unparalleled small group size. Intense, “over learning” environment. Look, in one weekend, no course can impart the knowledge of two or three years of study. If you think someone can, might we suggest using your money more wisely on a great weekend in Cancun instead? Where are the courses held?
At this time, we are holding the Board Stiff CRNA courses in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, New Orleans, Orlando, and, of course, our home base in Fort Lauderdale.

What is the cost of the course?
The weekend course is $650. We will include our question book, with answers, explanations, and many references, for you to keep, highlight, frame or simply decoupage.
Upon registration, full payment is required. Students may cancel their registration without question prior to the start of the course.

How do we make hotel arrangements?
Lodging arrangements are ultimately the candidate’s responsibility. Of course you need not stay at the host hotel.

We are definite fans of “casual dress”! You wear enough dress clothes and scrubs at work, so dress comfortably for the weekend.

Rest assured, Board Stiff CRNA is serious about providing its attendees with a thorough mock exam experience. We’re there to make sure you know the information presented and understand the written exam methodology. BUT, that doesn’t mean it has to be boring!
